National Republican Senatorial Committee Anti-Atheist Ad
Wow. That big powerful atheist lobby is going to get you! And obviously, no North Carolinians could be atheists or agree that "Under God" should be removed from the Pledge of Allegiance.
Your Republican Party, ladies and gentleman. They can't win on the issues, so they paint the opposition as Other.
Kay Hagan is running against and winning against Elizabeth Dole in North Carolina. Donate to her here, to the Obama and the DNC here, and to The Godless Americans PAC here.

Ugh. I am so sick of the Republican party, and I am disappointed that people are falling for the old trick of making your opponent look bad simply because you are incapable of looking good.
My mother taught me this when I was young: putting down someone else does not make you higher up. Seems like they never got this message.
I believe around 16% of the population identifies as "unaffiliated" and I hope they all speak out. America isn't mob rule, it's democracy. We protect minorities, and atheism needs to be protected as the current minority, just as small sects of Christianity needed protection when this country was being founded.
I wonder if Dole is offending fellow politicians too.
Atheism remains the most politically stigmatized element in American society. Very unfortunate.
That old ploy again, I see. The playbook is a million years old, at least.
