I don't have to watch the video to state that I would put my trust in the scientific process over the "I don't know anything therefore god process."

I find it to be vastly self-discrediting when one must resort to such blatant propaganda, in the form of road-side billboards; it illustrates the desperation inherent in the attempt to fervently cling to extremist religious dogma in light of overwhelming scientific knowledge. There was an insightful article in either Scientific American or Discover recently about an atheists visit to the new creationist museum and the tragedy that is the conflict between being intelligent and having a decent understanding of science and attempting to reconcile this knowledge with archaic religious doctrine.

By the way, is it just me, or could that Ken Ham fellow pass as a Neanderthal man in appearance? The guy simply looks as though he is from a genetic line which has just recently evolved!

I think the picture of the ape in the video is actually him, just photoshopped a bit.

These kids are no different than the adults at other boards, like Mad Zionist. Except they are more honest because they say they don't believe in evolution because they believe in the bible....they don't go to the extent of poking dishonest holes in science.
Check out this Is Atheism A Religion.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when these kids have been away from home for several years and figure out how much they were brainwashed growing up.

The woman that says she believes that the bible just "makes more sense" and is "easier to explain to her kids" is scary. I get the feeling that her life has just been a series of taking shortcuts to real thinking. Truth is hard, so she'll just take the easy way out.

This is rediculous!

These kids are being indoctrinated into thinking that they are right and that everyone else is wrong. It's like putting kids in public school and teaching them about evolution without ever showing the problems with the theory. They are going to swallow the whole concept whole.

You have to carefully taught.

Lol hilarious. Great stuff. But, it’s a straw man. Religion need not be this dumb.

Interesting response; ironically, I went to school in Kansas and was thus not taught evolution, it was banned, because, apparently, the mere whisper of evolution will demolish the faith of Christian children in an instant.
You are more than welcome to believe in conspiracy theories, but, if you wish to be taken seriously, when you make the claim that evolution has problems serious enough to repudiate it, well, you have to support the claim.

What is a straw man, the creation extremists? If this is your claim, well, then you couldn’t be more wrong. The video is a daunting testament to the reality of such individuals, groups and religious extremism in general, no straw man involved, only real-life, taped on video, religious fanatics.

If you are not sure what a straw man argument is, it is when an individual conjures up a false antagonist and then repudiates the fictional argument, if you didn’t notice, the video contains real-life people, real-life groups and real-life extremist religious doctrines, thus, it is by no means a “straw man.”
