Still and all, why bother? Here's my answer. Many people need desperately to receive this message: I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone. --Vonnegut

Not a very christian response. Or is it?
Ouch, thats was rough! I mean its not like he told them that he was going to vote green or anything.
It was kinda weird, I mean he is at least like 15 and they are threatening him with taking away his Christmas toys.
I wonder if his parents really believe if God or see it as a lifestyle thing. They didn't mention God at all.
I found that to be extremely hilarious! The mom is threatening to take away the Christmas gifts in the hope that his kid would come back to his senses! And whats up with that kid not believing in God all of a sudden just to escape from going to church? And who was taking the video?

I can understand a parent being upset with this choice since this is not the way they brought the child up.
However, acting like a lunatic will certainly get you any points with Jesus and help bring someone back to your way of thinking.
I also found it pretty pathetic that the she equates presents as a gift for believing in Jesus. Just another sign of how commercialized these things have become and how Christmas is no longer about religion for most people.
Oops, typo in their . . .
I meant acting like a lunatic will certainly NOT get you any points with Jesus and help bring someone back to your way of thinking.
I found the clip very sad. I guess because I can identify with the kid (he shares my name and looks somewhat similar). My parents were also very upset although they did not curse or scream or touch me (are jews less violent?). They just acted as if I had really disappointed them.
This world needs more tolerance.
I would like to know more info about this clip. Is it real or was it staged? Who was videotaping? Does this kid have a blog?
