Still and all, why bother? Here's my answer. Many people need desperately to receive this message: I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone. --Vonnegut

Evolution of the Horse
[E]volutionary stages of the horse (family Equidae) serve as an excellent illustration of the evolutionary process because it allows us to observe a step-by-step change in the shape of the bodies, the build of the limbs, and the structure of the teeth. In accordance with the changes in the environment, development continued from a five-toed mammal the size of a fox, to the single-hoofed, modern-sized horse we see today. --Wikipedia, Evolution of the Horse.
Ah HA! So animals have gotten bigger over time... that explains the whole business of fitting two of each on the Ark... everything was TEENY back then ;-p
well, evolution within the horse species, isn't very farfetched. It's humans going from hunched-over, ape-like creatures to the highly developed, complicated people we are today that sounds like science fiction.
I heard a pastor say something the other day, I'll paraphrase, but it was something like this:
"There's a lot of debate recently about evolution versus the bible, a lot about 'how', but people don't talk about the 'who' and the 'why' of creation, and those are the more important questions"
Evolution (and science in general) can't answer those questions, those are reserved for religon and philosophy. Maybe religon and philosophy shouldn't try and answer the 'how'.

Hmmm... Nobody seems to like the horsey post. Not controversial enough I guess... ;)
